To remember the sizes of the US-American television, who died last year, is an integral part of the Emmys. But a Robin Williams gebürt a very special tribute he also got the prestigious award. His longtime colleague and close friend Billy Crystal told the unique comedian and actor goodbye.

Against the background of a large portraits of the Williams visibly moved Crystal gave a speech that was both touching and funny. “He made us laugh, a lot,” Crystal said. “Every time you saw him.” Then he gave some anecdotes about his friend for good to the not only testified to his wit, but also his friendly nature.

“He was so awesome on stage, he was also the best friend you could imagine – helpful, loving,” Crystal concluded his speech. “It is difficult to speak of him in the past tense, because he is so present in our lives. He was the brightest star in the comedy Galaxy.”

At the end of some scenes from Williams’ television career were shown, including his comedy specials, for which he was twice awarded the Emmy.

Williams was found dead in his apartment on August 11. He was 63 years old. His ashes were two weeks ago in a private ceremony at the port of San Francisco.
