Dan Spencer (48), husband of Robin Williams assistant Rebecca and good friend of the actor has taken into Facebook farewell. In an emotional post he gives the world again last insight into the life of the star.

Still shaken the unexpected death of U.S. actor Robin Williams fans, friends and acquaintances. Now, Dan Spencer, husband of Williams secretary Rebecca Erwin Spencer has spoken out. His wife had found the lifeless performer last Monday at his home. In an emotional Facebook Post Spencer is now once again a deeper insight into the life of a unique human being and saying goodbye to a close friend.

“As a young boy he was when his parents were on a business trip, with his toy soldiers alone in his room,” Spencer begins his obituary, adding: “One can imagine that his mother and his father told him that he should himself a be brave little soldier, if they were not there. ” When his parents came back, he had then receive a reward – a “badge”. His toys had accompanied the star of his life.

“He discovered video games for yourself, first-person shooter for the computer and the Xbox,” Spencer explains. Williams did these soldiers games still played with 62 year, his friends would then always said he would just save the world. The actor had even gone to Afghanistan and Iraq, there to entertain the soldiers – “Maybe this was a way to retaliate with his friends in childhood”.

“Those of us who were fortunate enough to be able to be near him, saw our hero conquer the world” – with laughter and kindness, Spencer recalls. But his “last fight” was “heartbreaking” to watch. His friends had fought with him, but Williams lost. “Now our hero has laid down its arms. He told his soldiers farewell. The final battle is over. Finally this lonely little boy resting in peace,” concluded Spencer.
